Hi – My name is Rainne and I have been studying French for a little under a year now. Currnetly I have to research some of the more popular gardens of France. However-I have no clue where they are or what a good resource (books, internet site, etc.) would be to look. Any suggestions would be fantastic. Please respond by March 14,2004.

Have you tried to Google French Gardens? Put both words between quotation marks and you’ll get lots of hits. That would be a good place to start.
You might also try Fact Monster at http://www.factmonster.com/
I assume you’re in either high school or college so why don’t you go into your school library and ask the reference librarian to help you. He or she will be able to guide you to various reference books that will help. Then you can come back to the Internet and continue your search.
Good luck. BTW, I hope you find my favorite gardens, Jarden des Tuileries and Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris and the wonderful gardens at Château Villandry in the little town of Villandry in the Loire Valley.
