The Hotel Bretonnier is not primarily a gay hotel although it is in the Marais district, 4th arrondisement. It is the street of the same name as hotel and is a wonderful hotel with great friendly staff. It is in the busy nightlife area and many many restaurants and cafes and small shops nearby as well as subway station. Norte Dame is walking distance just across Seine and you can actually see the spires of ND from Marais. I stayed at Hotel Brettonier April, 2004 and would stay again. If you are interested in a gay hotel in the Marais there is one just down the street from Bretonnier. Best regards, Richard.
