After many hours over the pond (Atlantic Ocean), I arrived at the CDG airport and the ParisShuttle swirled me to the Hotel de Louvre in the center of Paris. I was welcomed by Madame, Sophie and the staff members with great hosipitality and kindness. My room sits over the courtyard and a nice breeze from the Seine River greeted me day and night.
Day 1 – I took the "Historic Core of Paris" Walk, beginning at Notre-Dame Cathedal where I studied its sculpture and windows, took in a Mass.
Across the river to the Ile St. Louis took me to some interesting shops and the ice cream parlor was a die for before looping thru the Latin Quarter neighborhood St. Michel and St. Germain. From the St.

i will be moving from the USA to Paris this summer, but i haven’t found a job yet. i know that i need a work permit in order to get a job, but i don’t know how hard it is to get one or how i would even go about getting it. at this point i need all the info i can get so a reply would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks!

Camping in northern france
me and my boyfriend intend to go camping in europe next summer. the problem is that we can’t find any decent web-pages on camping areas! we’d like to know the about-costs and so on, nothing luxury, just a cheap, nice place to spend the night. if anyone has any tips of websites or price ratings or whatever, it’d be nice to hear.

Well peep-holes, I’m off for a few days. Going to the good ole’ US of A. Will be back in about 10 days.
Should be pretty interesting to be there in such ‘tense’ times. I’ll tell you what I felt when I’m back. As usual, a good deal of my trip will take place in Redneckland. So, as my mom said, I hope we don’t get shot. She’s got little experience of the place, so she really meant that. I don’t.
But, if you ever see a poor guy in an orange jumpsuit weeping on a home video shown on Faux News, while some big bearded Presbyterians with shotguns are standing behind him chanting psalms and waving rebel flags, well that might just be me !
