My girl and myself would like to relocate to Paris. I have a vast medical history and require expensive medications. What is healthcare and insurance in France like? Is healthcare a government issue or is it acquired mostly through employment? Any help is appreciated. Also, how is the economic climate in Paris? I currently live outside Washington, DC. Are living expenses similiar to those in the USA?

We plan on taking the RER to Paris. What are the other places in Paris can I take my granddaughter? How is driving outside of Paris? Is it the same as in US? I will be arriving Paris on 27th September alone and like to know more info about getting to Paris from airport. I will be spending Saturday and Sunday in Paris and wonder where I should visit as a tourist and a good location to stay (2/3 star hotels).
