Hi,
I will be retutning from a barge trip on the canals in the Burgundy Region during the first week of Occtober.  I will come into the Gare de Lyon (Train station) and have to get to the Airport – Lyon Satolas (LYS. Does anyone know how best this is done and about how long it takes?  Thank you.  SB

I will be going to France in September, I really like traveling around France. Please tell me where is nice and how can I go there?

September is a lovely time to visit France. It is the largest country in Europe and very diverse so it's hard to advise you without knowing your interests and how long you plan to travel.
Of course, most people want to visit Paris and if you haven't been there, it is a great place to start.
If you only have a few extra days, you might consider basing yourself in Tours, a lovely college town, and visiting the chateaus of the Loire Valley. There are many in different styles so again, it would be nice to know what interests you.
Perhaps you could check some of the articles here on France.com to see if anything catches your fancy.
Provence is fascinating but so is Brittany and they are completely different. Burgundy is famous for its wines but also has chateaus and waterways that are world famous.
