Stop Over Paris

Hi, My friend and I are joining a winery tour to Chablis and Burgundy the late August.  We are thinking to stop over to Paris for Friday-Sunday before we head up to Chablis.

In the Forum, I found that Normandie and Loire sounds interesting, are they public transportation accessible? Is train convenient?.  IS day trip doable?

Also, we know nothing about lodging, such as B&B, hotel.  Should we find some here close to train station? Any idea?

Anyone ever try a credit repair expert?

I’m looking to pump up my credit score from 640-to 700 to get a better interest rate on my mortgage. I’ve heard opening new credit card accounts can help (some say it could hurt) the score but i doubt that would be enough. I surfed the internet and read about credit repair experts that could help. Has anyone tried these guys? Do they really help and if they do how much can they help. The agency i talked to there name was Lexington, but not sure if they can help as much as they say they can.

In « Rendez-vous de juillet », after the unspeakable trauma of France WW2 collapse, the older generation seemed silently to agree they had lost any moral right to advise their progeny about their life.

In « Le bon dieu sans confession », the lies, the compromises, all the wasted feelings of the adult characters make them similarly unsuitable role models.

« Le bon dieu sans confession » is sharp and entertaining social satire, but its final act lifts the film to an unexpected level, which justifies the book alternative title « M. Dupont est mort » and somehow reconciles it with the more famous one.

There, François Dupont, the slightly vane and naive -when it comes to the trades of love and money- new rich character, enamoured with his faithful car and a woman who misleads him at will, reclaims the driver’s seat and his position as the film main character.

Need to compare prices of Paris Hotels!!!!

Hi everyone, I am planning to go to Paris this season with my cousins. Since we are a group of teenagers we would like to make this trip an economical one and would like to know the staying costs that we are going to incur from the hotels there. We would be likely wanting the place to be in a centralized location so that it’s easy to travel in the city without much trouble.

Paris and Nice

HI- any advice would be appreciated. My husband and I would like to plan our first trip to France in July. We'd like to spend a few days in Paris and also make the trip down to Nice.  Any advice in terms of how best to travel from Paris to Nice, and any other recommendations would be so helpful. My first trip to France

Je suis Sud Africaine. Je m'appelle Karen. I have a love for France, the language and its people. I have been learning french for many years and speak it fairly well.
