I remember sometimes that some highly colored character have vomited their hate against France in those threads ( like that kfowler ), and you’ve let them write what they have wanted. Some French have not liked that and choosed to go away of your website ( ManuNice ), some american too weren’t liking it ( the sweet Myfarside and the great Crazyhorse ). hostel or inexpensive paris recommendations??

Hi, my friend and I (both 27 yr. old females) are going to Paris Sept. 30th-Oct. 10th and I need some recommendations on where to stay on a budget… Any help would be appreciated, there are so many hostels and hotels to choose from, which would be a better deal? I know Hostels are about 20-30/night per person and include some sort of breakfast, and some hotels are 60-70/night.

How bizarre…

How weird it is that some Americans have "deeply" fallen in love with France (I’m french) and some others got mentally sick: http://www.stuffucanuse.com/swiss/french.htm

I took it with humour but I don’t get his purpose… why can the French make you feel love and hatred towards them ??? Should we be proud of that ? What does it mean ??

France and America

The relationship between the US and France goes all the way back to the beginning of America. I think that the real problem is that France is too independent for most Americans to swallow. A lot of the problems started all the way back in the ’60 s ,France didn’t want our bases on their soil. If the French were conspiring with the USSR then the US would have something to worry about. Of course that wasn’t the case. America wanted to run the show and France wasn’t cooperating. Now all these years later France once again has shown her independence.
