I’m going on exchange this fall to Lille and am wondering what the best places to go to are. Any good clubs, restaurants, bars?
Has anyone heard of the residence hall "Franciscaines de Lille" (spelling may be off)?

I’ve never been there so I’ll leave this to the Frenchmen on the forum. However, Lille has spent a fortune and much effort to improve their city and it was deemed vastly improved and given some title by the French government. I believe they boast the second largest art museum in France, following the Louvre, of course.
The last issue of either "France" or "France Today" featured Lille. See if you can find an old one sitting around on a newstand.
Also, click on the blue and red France.com at the top of this page and then on the home page, click on the "Culture" button at the top of the page. After you finish that, scroll down to the bottom of the page and see if there is a tiny (hope you have good eyes) Lille in the information section and click on that. There is usually a wealth of information here. It just takes a bit of searching.
Also recommend doing a "Lille" search on Google.
