Yup, I agree with you that people, nowadays, prefer money to love and many of them date girl/boyfriend just because of money. If someone truly love you, he will not care how much money you have, where you come from and what you did. He will always take care of you till the end of the world no matter what happens around you. Oh, nothing to worry because you still are very young. I am convinced that you will find the right woman for your life when you are older. I guest you are a student now. Maybe what I am saying is not suitable to you because of different cultures. There is a big difference between the two cultures: Western and Eastern. So, I might have a piece of advice more appropriate to you in the sense that I know which country you are living. It is very nice to share things with you. Yup, maybe the message I posted on this site is misleading. I think that is because of the language. My mother language is not English, so it’s sometimes difficult for me to make my opinion clear and accurate. I just want to create this site for people to share their feelings and experiences so that they could be happier. That’s my target! I hope you could understand me at this point.

Just wanting to know what should i do about this – ok well not much to say about it but i have just met this french girl she is a forien exchange student and is only here for about 3 weeks or so but i meet her on oct 31s yes we where tric or treating and i showed her all about it even tho she did not know alot of english and i didnt know any french anyways there was one person that new a little french there that i new and she told me the french girl liked me and would like to see me agen and that she would like my phone number and address so i gave her that and ever sence that i started to like her but im afrade if i like her more il get hurt sence she will be leaving soon and i dont know what to do =P anyways i hope someone can help me on this im a 16/male from florida i think she is like 14 or 15 not sure

I think no need to worry, Chris. The important thing, I think, is to check yourself whether or not you want to develop the relationship with her. If the answer is "yes", long distance is not really the matter between you and her. You can ask for her postal address and write to her. Maybe in the future she’ll be in the US again for studying or working if she has a chance. Who knows? So, if you feel like liking or loving her, don’t be afraid to show her your feeling. Her three-week stay in the US is enough for you to develop your relationship, and maybe you two become a perfect couple then. At least I hope so.

Its seems very difficult to express a reply to this, because emotions in this repect are so huge and varied. I loved a girl once and till this day, i think of her atleast once a day. I think love is unconditional and I don’t think there is a way in which one can say you will find true love. its a slow ongoing process and ypu don’t even know what hit you. You can’t even force yourself to love someone. it happens on its own. I guess two individuals need time to fall in love. the only way i can think of is to allow time to take its
own course and let things happen on its own. please provide your opinions.

I think that you are right. Love is not fare. This guy liked me last year. Then this year he asked me out and I said yes. Our relationship was only two months long. That may seem like a lot but I mean he had been asking me since last year I thought it was going to be a longer relationship. Now I can’t stop thinking of him. The worst thing is that I’m not even sure if I ever liked him or not. This is so confusing.I guess that’s waht love is all about. You can never find the one you really love and get love back

ming duc…I read these letters and bigindian has the right idea. You do not or cannot force love. It comes naturally. When two people start seeing each other, love will blossom on it’s own or it will not. I too, like BigIndian, think of my first love at least once a day and that was many many years ago that we loved. The first love is always the best and the one that you will never forget. But, you are young and you seem to be needlessly worrying about falling in love now. The best way to meet someone and fall in love is not to be looking. Just enjoy your life and enjoy your activities and before you know it, you will have found someone with the same like interests, culture, background and soon the two of you will be thinking about each other all the time, not wanting to be away from each other, hugging, kissing and then the two of you will realize, perhaps not at the same time, that you are in love.
