I am on my first solo adventure abroad and am flying into Paris CDG. I have a ticket to take the TGV from CDG to Avignon. Is the TGV station actually in the airport or do I need to find a shuttle or something. I want to make sure I have enough time to clear customs and catch my train. Any advice would be appreciated.                                                                                           Thanks                                                                                                                            Tom O'

Here is some info from the CDG airport web site. You can also download airport (and other) maps here. http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/Adp/en-GB/Passagers/Arrivees/QuitterAeroport/EnTransportEnCommun/EnTrain.htm
Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport i servd by TGV High Speed Train (from the North, South and West), by Thalys and Mainline trains. The SNCF French Railways station in Terminal 2 ensures fast interconnection times.
Please note: The Paris-Charles de Gaulle railway station is not served by all TGV, Thalys and Mainline trains. Only a limited number of trains actually stop at the station so you may need to change trains. The SNCF French Railways station at Paris-Charles-de Gaulle is located in Terminal 2.
Don't know if you need this info but the Marne-le-Vallée TGV station is roughly 30 km east of Paris, close to EuroDisney. You can take the RER directly from CDG to Marne-le-Vallee. I'm assuming you can leave from CDG since you said your ticket is from there.
Oh yes, the TGV station in Avignon is farther out than the regular train station but there is a navette (bus) every 15 minutes to take you downtown. Avignon buses are great!
