Hello. I am new to this forum and I have a question to ask about my mother’s maiden name. I am doing a family tree and I ahve a question to ask about my mother’s name. Her maiden name is Martell. I know that certain names are prevalent in certain French provinces. Could anyone tell me where the Martell name is most prevalent? Any leads would be most appreciated.

Motel 6 equivalent in France?

In the U.S., we have a motel chain called Motel 6. This is a ultra-cheap chain for people who don’t want to spend the bulk of their money for lodging.

The average price for single occupancy is roughly $60 U.S. What is the lodging equivalent in France? I’m curious because I plan to visit France in the next few years-which is why I’m reviewing my French now, so I don’t come across as the ugly American when I arrive.

Paris-Brussels(Bruxelles)-Paris??

Hello!
I’m a young Indian student and I’ll be making my first trip to France this July. I’ll be doing a ‘stage’ for a month, after which I plan to visit Brussels and Bruges with a couple of friends. Does anyone know which is the cheapest way to get to Brussels from Paris, and return? I intend to make this a sort of "petit-budget" trip, so I’ve no issues taking a bus either!
