Together with the neighboring town of Grand Bornand, La Clusaz forms the center of the Aravis ski area. Different from many French ski resorts, the atmosphere of La Clusaz remains true to the alpine village.

Drive over the Col des Aravis and drop down into the village.
The first Paris hotel to be designed from scratch by Philippe Starck, it was built by Roland Castro, architect of low-cost housing projects, under the aegis of Serge Trigano, whose father was a co-founder of Club Med. It is called Mama Shelter.
Pornic is a small seaside town. It is a popular tourist destination for the French with lots of restaurants and even a sightseeing train.

Pornic is a pleasant place to wander around. From the city centre you and follow a path which will take you to the swimming beach. The town is quite historic and the streets above the harbour and very pleasant to wander around.
Epernay (Épernay) is a small town in north-east France known for its Champagne production. A number of the most famous brands are produced and cellared in the miles of tunnels which exist beneath the town. Notable brands include Moet et Chandon.
Epernay is surrounded by a number of smaller villages including Oiry and Magenta among others.
The fine early Gothic cathedral. It is one of the finest in France, with openwork towers and a four-storey nave elevation. The interior is extremely light and spacious. The west towers feature an octagonal top storey with square turrets at the angles on top of the square bottom storey. They are decorated with the figures of sixteen oxen, said to commemorate a miraculous ox that appeared to pull a cartload of stone to the hilltop site.
Annemasse is a city in the Haute-Savoie region of France, located directly across the border from Geneva, Switzerland. Many of its inhabitants work in Geneva and travel home every day. It is a useful place to stay for those who find Geneva's hotel prices too much for their pocket.

Orange is located near the junction of the A7 and A9 autoroutes. It is situated in the Rhone valley about 100km north west of Marseille, 30km north of Avignon and 200km south of Lyon.
