Bonjour (?)
My wife and I are heading for Paris the last week of April 2006. Being a photography fan I am seeking a hotel that offers ample photo ops as well a being in close proximity of the major monuments and attractions. Hopefully the hotel will be clean, comfortable and well maintained as well as being situated centrally.something in the 100-125 Euro range is ok.
Eagerly awaitng your help.

I used the reservation search on the site here and received the following message – "Looking for other property."
I know the hotel I was looking for – the Hotel du Palais in Montpellier doesn’t appear to have a web presence – so does that mean the site is waiting for my approval to look for another hotel?
I’d like to stay at this one due to the location, so I really don’t want to look elsewhere until I find out they are booked full.
Any help on clarifying the process would be appreciated.
Thanks,
GB

Hi, I’m new to this forum but I hope regulars won’t mind me asking, why is everyone so obsessed with Paris? France has so much more to offer but whenever you look at forums – not just on France.com – 90% seems to be people visiting Paris! Nice city, but anywhere less representative of the ‘real’ France you could not hope to find! What does anyone else think?

The findings? Mona Lisa was 83 percent happy, 9 percent disgusted, 6 percent fearful, and 2 percent angry, according to the British weekly “New Scientist.”
Still, scientists will probably never know what made her feel the way she did.
The computer software, developed by Nicu Sebe at the University of Amsterdam and researchers at the University of Illinois, examines key facial features, the journal reports.
Sebe loaded average, neutral expressions of female faces into a database, which the software used to compare the painting against, says the “New Scientist” Web site.
