Motel 6 equivalent in France?
In the U.S., we have a motel chain called Motel 6. This is a ultra-cheap chain for people who don’t want to spend the bulk of their money for lodging.
The average price for single occupancy is roughly $60 U.S. What is the lodging equivalent in France? I’m curious because I plan to visit France in the next few years-which is why I’m reviewing my French now, so I don’t come across as the ugly American when I arrive.

Paris-Brussels(Bruxelles)-Paris??
Hello!
I’m a young Indian student and I’ll be making my first trip to France this July. I’ll be doing a ‘stage’ for a month, after which I plan to visit Brussels and Bruges with a couple of friends. Does anyone know which is the cheapest way to get to Brussels from Paris, and return? I intend to make this a sort of "petit-budget" trip, so I’ve no issues taking a bus either!

Napoleon is out ? – Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the greatest Frenchmen of them all? A TV series asks the question in an ongoing series that has French people vote for the most important Frenchman or French woman. According to Joe Hanley from the Guardian, the series is based on a British series and the results are quite baffling. Who would have thoiught Napoleon, of all Frenchmen would be one of the first to get the boot?

Hi Im looking for a girl that goes by the name of Corinne and lived in 147 Rue De La ******* in Chateaubriant area. She came with a tour group one summer to Athlone,Ireland between 1992-95 and we became penpals when she arrived back in France but lost contact over the years. France scraps youth job law, bowing to mass unrest
PARIS (Reuters) – French In a televised statement, Villepin said he regretted that weeks of strikes and protests showed the CPE could not be applied but gave no details about his own political future, on the line over his handling of the dispute.
President Jacques Chirac on Monday scrapped a planned youth job law that provoked weeks of protests, in a climbdown opponents celebrated as an unqualified victory.
The move was a personal blow to Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin, who had championed the First Job Contract (CPE) and seen his popularity slump with the mass opposition and unrest.

I know decapitation isn’t all it’s made out to be, because you are still alive for at least a few minutes afterward (as made evident during the Reign of Terror), but WOW!
