Hi! I am hoping for suggestions on how to best use my 6 days in France (I’m going in early Sept) and don’t want the pricey, toursisty thing. I’d like to see real culture and am not sure if I should spend all of the time in Paris or just a few days there and then travel to the coast (I love the ocean). Appreciate any thoughts you can share. Thanks!
Looking for information regaurding…..
Political and social climate towards American companies in France.
Hypothetically, a U.S. company wants to come to France, set up shop n manufacture and market a breakfast toaster (Pop Tart) for general consumption.
any and all info would be appreciated. I’m using and researching this information in a marketing class..discussing "globalization of markets"
“Watergate a la francaise,” one opposition leader calls the Clearstream affair. Named after a Luxembourg-based clearinghouse, it has all the ingredients of a political thriller: a master spy, anonymous denunciations, defence kickbacks, a smear campaign and fratricidal rivalry.
This imbroglio, which touches the heights of the French state, hints at the flavour of politics over the next 12 months, in the run-up to the presidential election.
The story originates in a judicial investigation, launched in 2001, into kickbacks, linked to the 1991 sale of six French frigates to Taiwan, that were allegedly channelled through Clearstream accounts.
Hello. I am new to this forum and I have a question to ask about my mother’s maiden name. I am doing a family tree and I ahve a question to ask about my mother’s name. Her maiden name is Martell. I know that certain names are prevalent in certain French provinces. Could anyone tell me where the Martell name is most prevalent? Any leads would be most appreciated.
Thank You

In the U.S., we have a motel chain called Motel 6. This is a ultra-cheap chain for people who don’t want to spend the bulk of their money for lodging.
The average price for single occupancy is roughly $60 U.S. What is the lodging equivalent in France? I’m curious because I plan to visit France in the next few years-which is why I’m reviewing my French now, so I don’t come across as the ugly American when I arrive.
Merci.
