As many of you well see the French don’t take too well to Bush and call him a Cowboy.
How do you thing the French took to President Reagan? He was both seen as cowboy and a conservitive. Do the French, however, see Reagan in a different light. Reagan to many was more classy. The Presidential Talor (A Frenchman) says that he thinks that Reagon was the best President he ever served. He thought he was very classy and polite.
DO you think the French see the other Coyboy in a good light?

Portugal (AP)After 90 minutes, England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson was leading France 1-0 – and then Zinedine Zidane struck with a free kick and game-winning penalty in three minutes of injury time.
France 2, England 1.
“Suddenly, one free kick and one penalty destroyed the evening for us,” Eriksson said. “Football is tough sometimes. We are a little bit down in the dressing room, but it is important tomorrow morning that we keep our heads up.”
Instead of leading Group B, England is at the bottom with two group matches remaining against Switzerland and Croatia.
Hello everyone,
I am attending a wedding reception in Gisors in late August and looking for recommendations on lodging. I’ve found a couple: the Hotel Moderne and the Chateau de la Rapee. I’m looking for something charming, immaculate, and in a great part of town. Any recommendation short of camping is welcome as well as any expertise on the two I’ve already mentioned.
Thank you ~ chercher
P.S. Could someone also please explain what "half board" means?
Hi! I found this website tonight and am elated! I live in USA midwest, I’m 35 and a mortgage banker. I have two sons and look forward to vacationing in Paris in the future. My heritage is French and I am just thrilled to find such an informative and diverse site. I have been reading the debate and it’s just shocking to see how much French hate USA and USA hate French. I wasn’t prepared for the hostile conversations going back and forth! I’m too happy right now to take sides. Just saying hello!
Bonjour, I am a single Canadian Businessman who is 29, very good looking, seeking to find a girl local to the Alsace region to correspond with and party with when I visit. I will be in the region in early October, but would like to correspond first via MSN messenger (I also have pictures to send). I do speak and write some French and am currently taking classes to enhance this.
Merci
For our upcoming trip to Europe, we’re planning a "drive-by" visit to Paris. We’ll take the crack-of-dawn train from London to Paris (which arrives about 9am), and plan to take the night train to Munich (which leaves at about 10pm).
Obviously, we don’t want to drag our luggage around with us. And while I’d like to assume that there are places to check it (two people’s worth surely wouldn’t fit in a locker?), it would be very inconvenient to be wrong.
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a map of Gare du Nord or Gare du Est… and, as I don’t speak French, I’m not sure that I’d recognize "left luggage booth" or "baggage check" if I had one.
Can anybody help?
Hello,
I am a French citizen and have been living in the USA for 7 years now.
I always find very interesting what poeple think about culture differences between our 2 countries.
Let me start with one.
Maybe it is only from my personnal experience but, as an engineer in France, it is impossible to go home at night before 7:00pm.
Try to leave at 5pm and everybody is going to think that work is not your priority…here, if I am done my work I can get home by 5…at least from time to time and without being judged…
What do you think?
Other examples that might be true or false?
Jissou.
Reigning European Champions France are ranked second, behind Brazil, with Spain one place behind in third.
Holland are ranked joint-fifth with Argentina and Turkey, who failed to qualify for Portugal.
Despite their poor form in their run-up Germany go into the tournament ranked in eighth place, while England are in 13th spot.
The USA continue to hold a top-10 spot in ninth place, while Cameroon are the top-ranked African nation in 12th.
