While driving through Burgundy last week, I took these pictures. Most of them where from the little medieval village of Flavigny sur Ozerain. Wonderful little town.
Before getting to Flavigny, I saw this barge and thought it would make a nice photo. Maybe a little too 'postcardish' , but nice nonetheless:
Then, as I entered the little town I saw a scene which made me do a double-take. Then I snapped this photo:
After doing research and reading your replies to my posts (‘Paris/Normandy/Burgundy possible?’), I’ve decided on doing Paris/Loire/Burgundy. I think we’ll be ok doing this in 10 days. We plan on flying into Paris and immediately driving down to Loire for 3 nights(accomodations still TBD- there are too […]

We are looking for our old nanny. She worked for us starting in July 1992 and became a huge part of our family. We lost touch when she had to return to France. We lived in Fountain Valley, CA USA. Her name is Flo Battaglia, she was 19 then. She had a babby boy in June of 1997. If you know her or of her please email me at candcgarza@hotmail.com It would be such a blessing to our family to get in touch with her again.Â
Thanks,
Coreen, Patrick, Michael, Ryan and Kendall

Opio is the perfect way to spend a family week in Provence. Imagine a place where the parents can improve their hobbies while kids are taken care of with full days of fun-filled activities. Imagine great food, moments of pure pleasure, a week without a thing to worry about. Imagine that you are in a Provencal village, where activities and food, shows and drinks are included. Concentrate on your enjoyment, leave the rest to Club Med.
For a family, the newly opened village in the Nice back country is the best way to enjoy Provence.

My sister and I will visit for the first time June 7 – June 10. We would
like to take a half-day tour of Paris, would like to visit Versailles, and
would like to take a night cruise on the Seine. We need some good advice on
this for first-time visitors, and we would need the information delivered
during the tour to be in English. Please advise.
Hi, my husband and I have booked the Versailles tour online, but haven't received any email confirmation yet. We have the reference number and the receipt. Do we show the receipt when the bus comes to pick us up at the hotel? Will the tour agency call us to confirm? What time exactly will the bus pick us up?
Thanks
Sylvia
