Of great age the town is still surrounded by its medieval fortifications and is overlooked by a castle from the same period that is today a museum.
It was one of the few towns in the area not to be badly damaged during World War II.

Description
La Clusaz is a town in the French Alps.
Together with the neighboring town of Grand Bornand, La Clusaz forms the center of the Aravis ski area. Different from many French ski resorts, the atmosphere of La Clusaz remains true to the alpine village.
