I will be traveling to Sainte Enimie in September, flying out of JFK in NYC. Does anyone know the best way to get there once I land in Paris? Is it better to fly to Montpellier or take a train? Once I get to Montpellier, how do I get to Sainte Enimie? Is there some other city I should fly into, or to take a train to, instead of Montpellier? This will be my first trip to Europe. I am not going through a travel agency as I will be doing volunteer work in Sainte Enimie. Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
This is about the hotel called Golden Tulip Royal Garden Champs Elysees Hotel. We made a reservation for 4 nights but unfortunatly we could only stay one night .The room was very old.The bathroom doors were not working. The room was not clean at all. We checked […]
I met Georges Braule on a school trip to France at Easter time in 1964.We stopped at a school in Avignon and that is where I met him. He went to do his national service in 1964 and served in the French navy. We wrote to each other for 2 years. He must be around 60+ now and I would love to know if anyone thinks they know this man
I have often thought about him and wondered what happened to him.
Thank you ………..

I will be traveling witrh my wife to France in late September. We will spend a couple of days in Paris and then take the train to Auxerre. From there we have to travel to Baye, on the Naivernais canal, for a week's voyage north to Mailly-la-Ville.Â
It seems next to impossible to find transportation information, including costs, for travel within Burgandy. Specifically, where can I get bus schedules and prices for Auxerre to Baye, and for          Mailly-la-Ville to Auxerre? I would prefer to travel by bus, but failing that, how much must I budget for for a taxi for each trip?
Any advice will be gratefully accepted.

Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone could help me locate a long lost friend from France, last known area was Montellimar.
Name is Thierry Despesseux, not sure on the sir name spelling. His father was called Jean.
Last saw him in a village called Ponte Barret just outside Montellimar, his parents were teachers at the local village primary school. Thierry went to a senior school in Montellimar.
This was in the mid seventies so quite a long time ago, lol.
Any help in locating Thierry or his family would be much appreciated.
Kind Regards
