Christmas in Montbéliard is a real fairytale affair. A German principality for four centuries, the town has kept the Germanic art of celebrating the festive season. At night fall, the Cité des princes de Montbéliard, the dukes of Wurtemberg, will be illuminated by spectacular Christmas lights.
Near the 17th-century temple there will be the traditional Christmas market, a feast of colors and flavors.
