We are planning to rent a car for a 10 day trip from Paris to Loire and over to Beaune.
Can anyone provide me withan estimated drive time from Amboise to Beaune (and maybe an suggested route)?
It appears on the map I have (an avis suggested itinerary), it would be an 8 hour drive straight through. However, there may be a more straightforward route. The Avis route is about 381 miles and has various side trip stops to select towns.Â
I just want to see if we're going to have to book a night somewhere in the middle. We don't want to be rushing around and doing an 8 hour drive to get to the next place.
I've already booked a place in Amboise, so I can't really change that part of our itinerary.
Thanks for the info in advance!

We plan on flying into Paris and immediately driving down to Loire for 3 nights(accomodations still TBD- there are too […]

Her name is Flo Battaglia, she was 19 then. She had a babby boy in June of 1997. If you know her or of her please email me at candcgarza@hotmail.com It would be such a blessing to our family to get in touch with her again.Â
Thanks,
