My husband's family came from the town of Bleus in France. His cousin who has been visting us said she saw the town on a train between Paris and Calais.
I wonder if anyone has seen or heard of this town because we plan to visit later this year and would like to see where his ancestors came from.
Thanks in anticipation
Cheers Vanda

We have been to Deauville, Trouville, Cabourg… but it's in Honfleur where we got our Hotel. Our Holiday at this hotel was like a Dream comes True. Very nice welcome, very nice charming rooms and located at proximity of the old port boat. The city of Honfleur was quite calm and very peaceful. We have also appreciated the different Holiday Packages the hotel offers to us with original themes and surprises. It's not common to find this kind of offers in this region, but this hotel use to get this great idea. We have been able to travel around with the Limousine from the hotel and that was quite romantic.

I know that in Europe they are more "trendy" than we are in the US and I don't want to look like a tourist. However, I still want to be comfortable since we are going to be walking a lot. Most importantly, I want to look cute while not frying in the hot weather. I also want things that are versatile so I can pack less.

It really struck me when I watched the movie Sicko.(i dislike michael moore but his videos are very blunt) I began reading more about Europe in general especially about France. I took art history when I was in high school along with French Language. So I have long had a fascination with France it seems beautiful its people seem very laid back and even more they take a stand for what they want. They do something about bad politics.
As I said I am very inspired and am just wondering what its like to be a Stater in France. What is the general realistic attitude towards Staters right now, I know that our politics are far from agreeing but are our people clashing also?

Also, is Nice the best place to get a train while in that area, on to Italy?
Any help appreciated.
