Read Morehi! i’m doing research on a fourteenth century french dress called a cotehardie. it’s a form-fitting dress from the top to the hips then the skirt flairs out, it’s generally a floor length dress (possibly longer). that’s about all i know about it and i need more information. i need the research for a medieval re-creation group that i’m a part of called the SCA (society for creative anachornism). i am entering a competition in january and have to have documentation but am having problems finding anything that i haven’t seen already. although i’m not trying to be stereotypic here i figured who would know about the cotehardie better than someone french! The united states is going into iraq for security issues, and france still occupies territories in africa for profit. Before seeing this i was debating if i was going to ever go to france. I want to see europe, my grandfather faught there to free the french and many of his friends were burried there. After seeing this article i can clearly see now france is purely in many situations for profit.
