Hello:
I am trying to contact an old friend now living in Cannes. I have an address, and a telephone number, but I’d rather try to find out if it is possible to contact her by e-mail. Is there anyone living in the Cannes area that would be willing to help me. I’ve become far too used to e-mail to even try find a place to buy Airmail stationary and try to contact her that way.
Thanks!
P.S. I now live in New York, I think that we have an eight hour time difference

You’ve probably already tried this, but you could just Google her name and see if she appears in the search. Any name usually brings a couple hits. If it’s a common name, you could get hundreds and then have to sort through them. If you put her name and her city between quotation marks that would narrow the search. ["lovely lady and Cannes"]
You could also try the French Yellow Pages online. Type in her name and city and see if she appears. Here’s the web site. http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/
Good luck.
Silly question: I just notice you have her phone number. Why don’t you just call and ask her e-mail address?
You don’t need airmail stationary to send a letter either. Plain old notebook paper works just fine. I use it all the time.
Hey Thanks, I’ve tried to call but I seem to always get a busy signal, I’ll try the snail mail
If you always get a busy signal, she’s probably online. You aren’t forgetting the time difference, are you? That may make a difference too.
Good luck. Snail mail nearly always works . . . slowly, of course!
