The program will start from Romainville on November 29 ending as usual on Christmas Day in the morning hours at the theatre Gérard Philipe of Saint-Denis. This year there’ll be a special evening of traditional Berber singing instead of the usual Malian Mandingue Christmas night. Highlights of the program include: “Wijdan, the encounter between two families”, that of the Bamako hunters and Marrakech gnawa musicians (CDN of Montreuil, the Cap d’Aulnay-sous-Bois and at the theatre Gérard Philippe), an “Indian ocean” evening with Comoro mixes, people from Reunion and Malaga (Maison populaire de Montreuil) and a look at music from Réunion Island (at the Forum culturel de Blanc-Mesnil). A great way to chase away those winter blues!
