1. Choose the right hotel and the right room. Keep in mind that there a very few hotels that have rooms for 4, or even connecting rooms. 3. Forget Disneyland. Disney parks are for Florida, not France. While you're in Europe go see the real thing. If you can go to the Loire valley and see the castle that inspired Walt in the first place. If you don't have the time, take a half-day tour to Versailles .
4. Long before Pokemon, there was something called Guignol. The Marionettes which are on display several times a week, are a good way to spend an afternoon.
5. If going to restaurants becomes a chore for your young ones, have them try the French version of fast food: order crepes or Croque-Monsieur (Grilled cheese sandwich) or a hot-dog.
6. Reward them with any kids dream: french pastries and sweets. Go to your nearest Balnagerie-Patisserie and have them choose something sweet and delicious. They'll tank you for it…
7. Most sites are less crowded at meal times, so keep it in mind when planning your day.
8. Traffic is heavy throughout Paris and sidewalks are small and crowded. Be especially careful when crossing street. Look for skaters and scooters who often take shortcuts on sidewalks. In the subway make sure your kids hold your hand.
9. When you arrive at an attraction, find a visible landmark to use as a meeting place if you were to become separated.
10. Relax! You're in Paris. Your kids should have fun and learn many things, but so should you!
