Belles Rives

In the very heart of the Riviera, the 1930’s’ socialites strolled past by day or danced to jazz by night at this palace immortalised by F Scott Fitzgerald. Still with a celebrity clientele and blessed with its own private, sandy beach and jetty, the hotel has been wonderfully revived. The original lustre of its Art Deco features have been lovingly restored retaining the nostalgia of the thirties but with every modern comfort. Some recent revivals, too: redecorated rooms in bold pink- and black- striped wall paintings set off by Venetian mirrors. Dining is a pleasure as much for the cuisine as for the unforgettable panorama. Delicious Mediterranean-inspired dishes created by Chef David Marie are served in the gastronomic restaurant, La Passagère, and on its terrace. If you favour the beach for relaxation, the restaurant Plage Belles-Rives serves informal lunches or, for light snacks and refreshing drinks with friends, there are the Cabines.
