Le Mas de la Brune

Located at the foot of the Alpilles mountain range, more than a mile away from the village of Eygalieres-en-provence, in an area inhabited since the Noelithic Period, it has been handed down from father to son until 1848. Built in 1572 for the Consul Pierre Isnard, the Mas de la Brune is a real gem of Renaissance architecture. Cornices, corbelled structures, mullioned windows, watch-tower, decorative motifs evoking the Gospels and Pagan legends… In the Provence blue of Les Alpilles, this place is a castle brimming with happiness, basking in the fragrance of lavender and roses, the shade of the chestnut-trees and an age-old estate. It bids you welcome with refinement, elegance, the nobility of an exceptional house.
