Château de Rochegude (Chateau de Rochegude)

10 miles North of the City of Orange, this 12th-century fortress used to be the summer residence of the Marquis de Rochegude who actively participated in the American Revolution. Overlooking vineyards and a park, all the rooms are beautifully decorated in different style such as Napoléon III or louis XVI. The restaurant in the medieval armoury features provence cuisine and the best Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines.
