The very old Croix Blanche auberge is located in a ravishing village in the Sologne forest. Since the 18th century, thirteen generations of women chefs have presided over the kitchen, gradually winning a solid gastronomic reputation. You walk through the old kitchen to get to the dining room, which is tastefully decorated with hunting trophies, antique country furniture, and the smartly laid tables of a good old-fashioned restaurant. In the summer, you can have dinner in the pretty flower garden.
