La Cognette

The origin of this old Inn goes back to 1836. Balzac in his novel “La Rabouilleuse” describes it at great lengh.
The Inn was owned by the Cognet family, hence the name. Balzac frequented it from 1823 onward, always enjoying the perfect hospitality given there.
Here you will find conviviality, friendliness and warmth.
