This month sees the international exhibition, Whisky Live Paris, now in its 11th year, take place at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris, where it will afford visitors the opportunity to brush up on their whiskey knowledge, discover a world of new tastes and experiences, and meet other enthusiasts who share their passion.
The Paris exposition, which is also held in New York, London, Johannesburg, and Shanghai, is spread over three floors, and has a tasting area of more than 1500 square meters – the largest of its kind in the world, and will feature 160 exhibitors, with around 900 free whiskey and spirit tasting opportunities.
As well as masterclasses led by some of the world’s leading whiskey experts, visitors will get the chance to sample new releases, rare vintages, collectors’ editions, and blends, such as Nikka Whiskey from Japan, which are rarely seen outside their home countries. In addition, London wine merchants, Berry Brothers & Rudd, will be recreating their St. James’ Street boutique, where they have been trading continuously since 1698, for tasters to sample their famous wares.
Whisky Live, combining culture, creativity, innovation, and a taste for discovery runs from September 27-28, 1.30pm-7.30pm. VIP access is from 12.30pm.
