Tourists, pilgrims find sisters’ welcome at Montmartre’s Sacré-Coeur

It’s not only one of Paris’ most famous and recognizable monuments, it’s one of Paris’ most beloved Basilica and a place for pilgrims to rest. Everyone, tourists and pilgrims alike are touched by this place.

According to Paris’ official tourism office, the basilica of the Sacré Coeur is the second-most-visited Paris monument, with 10.5 million visitors last year, behind Notre Dame (13.6 million) and before the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.
