Did you know that there is an apartment in the Eiffel Tower? Gustav Eiffel built it in order to meet important visitors to the Tower when it was opened in 1899.
Although 21st century tourists today are unable to wander around inside, the apartment is on display, via a viewing window, complete with mannequins of Eiffel and Thomas Edison.
