My first time in France

Went brilliantly. Paris is a truely beautiful city and has to be a must for anyone to visit. The metro system must be second to none and even Gare Du Nord wasn’t as bad as I had taken from here. Nice was a bit dull but a nice place to relax and close to Monte Carlo. The French people were mostly very kind and helpful as I addressed them intially in French and they replied in English, recognising that I had made the effort. All in all, a brilliant trip.
