My sister and I will visit for the first time June 7 – June 10. We would
like to take a half-day tour of Paris, would like to visit Versailles, and
would like to take a night cruise on the Seine. We need some good advice on
this for first-time visitors, and we would need the information delivered
during the tour to be in English. Please advise.

Hi. The easiest way to do this is simply click on "Tours" up above in the France.com banner. There is a blue band underneath that lists Home Hotels Tours etc. Click on Tours and you will see links for everything you mentioned above.
?http://www.best-of-france.net is another link you may want to check.
I will suggest you do a regular boat tour on the Seine, not a dinner tour. You want to see everything and if you are eating, you are not looking at the sights. It's rumored the food isn't great on the dinner cruises anyway although we've never done one so I can't verify that. I do know there are lots of excellent restaurants on shore though!
Have a great time in Paris.

SalB's absolutely right. If you have to do one tour, do a Seine river cruise.
That being said, it's impossible to see all of Paris in 1 day, so be clear about what you absolutely want to see and then go to http://paristours.visitfrance.travel and choose the tours that will best display what you want to see.
If budget is less of an issue, and if there are 3 of you, you can take a guide for 4 hours and have her/him drive you around to see exactly what you want. since the cost for this is about 400 euros for the hald-day it makes more sense if you can split the cost between 3 people.
No matter what you do, take a Seine cruise and enjoy Paris!
