Hello, my name is Linda and though I can’t speak much France ever since I can rember. I have some Jacque Brel’s records I still listen to. I understand spoken or sung French bett than I can speak it. I so hope these straned relations between France and the US will get better. I think thaat most Americans just don’t understand. French people are very patriotic just as we are. Americans don’t want to be told what to do,but neither does France. My Last name is Gimbert,a French name. I gave up years ago trying people to pronouce it proporly, Everyone thinks it’s Gilbert, I correct them and They just think my name is strange. There are only a few Gimberts in this country.
