I found a wonderful penpal (just a penpal) from france and my French has improved greatly. I plan to visit paris in September and very much looking forward to my visit in your country.
But, a frenchman responded to my best girlfriend’s ad on a USA single’s wedsite in January 2004 until now with promises of visiting, marriage, etc. Ask for monies for a flight to visit her in the USA and never arrived. Finally, she allowed me to view some of the e-mails, photos, phone number, etc. that he used for correspondence.
After all of this, I viewed the USA single’s website and its states that the most of their complaints were about European men being deceitful.
My questions??? Is this the nature of all Frenchmen there in France? Or is he just a bad apple in the barrel?
